Some thoughts about the 15th ISGE World Congress

The 15th World Congress of Gynecological Endocrinology is just closed, and we are all very happy of the incredible success we had!!
The growing attendance (more than 2400 delegates) witnesses how lively and attractive is the area of Gynecological Endocrinology.

But more than that, the exponential growth of the presence of young scientists, thanks to the boost of the Under 34 competition, is making our Congress the heart of a community that is healthy and growing, even at times of crisis like we are experiencing now. The scientific level was outstanding! The oral communication sessions were flooded by participants, showing how this is already the landmark event for cutting-edge science in the broader area of Women’s Health and Gynecological and Reproductive Endocrinology.

The International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology is now facing new horizons; with the consciousness that the solid basis we have built grow our boldness and make us all look towards newer achievements.
We are starting new initiatives that will significantly benefit the members, The Schools, which will be key ways to bring education and updates in clinical practice to the members.

  • The on-line education with so many educational contents that are completely free for members and evolving to provide new tools to search and find what is really needed.
  • A new series of publications for online CME accreditation, which will join high education with professional development.

So we are growing and looking forward to a bright future together! Thanks to all of you who joined us in Florence, and for all those who were not able to come… ISGE will be with you through the web! Come see the whole congress online.

Tommaso Simoncini
The Executive Secretary.
